All kinds of causes, such as unhealthy food, affect our microorganisms in our gut. It damages the intestinal mucosa that must protect us. This so-called leaky gut enters unwanted substances into the bloodstream. There it makes you susceptible to one or more autoimmune diseases, whereby our immune system attacks our own tissue.
Unhealthy food is the basis of all physical and mental complaints
We have a large number of cases of obesity, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, psoriasis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism, back and neck complaints, depression, cancer, Alzheimer’s … The list is endless. We all receive a different diagnosis. One of the main reasons why you get all kinds of nasty symptoms is the lack of a healthy diet.
We are often told that healthy eating can prevent diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Less known is that the effects of a healthy diet on our brains and our mental health are just as strong. Highly processed food can even lead to a 50 to 100% higher risk for developing depression. So what we eat has a huge impact on our total body.

You will find passionate followers of all kinds of diets everywhere. One swears by a low-carbohydrate diet and the other by low-carb, low-fat, high-fat, ketogenic, paleo, raw, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free …
The majority of the population who are looking to lose weight and become healthier are also looking for the newest and best diet. Unfortunately, there is not one standard healthy diet. You can be sensitive to healthy food. For example, there are people who are intolerant to tomatoes, eggs or nuts. Everyone is different.
The one-size-fits-all diet does not exist
